John’s mathematical skills and outgoing personality lead him to consider a career in financial planning at an early age. What truly excites him to work in wealth advisory is the opportunity to apply his beliefs and convictions to his career. It is common in our culture to view money as the means to achieve security, significance, and success, leaving many fearful of not having enough or greedily desiring more and more. John believes we find real security, significance, and success through our relationships and impacting the lives of others. With this perspective money becomes supplemental and can be used to deepen relationships and create lasting impact. John hopes to help others live joyful lives marked by contentment and service, rather than fear and greed.
His favorite Joseph Group value is humility. John sees humility as the foundation for all other virtues, and says without humility, we are selfish and place what is most convenient to us above what is best for others. To be selfless and loving, we must value others more than we do our own convenience.
Prior to working for the Joseph Group, John attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University, graduating in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Financial Planning. During his time in college, he competed as a part of the cross country and track teams.
John currently lives in Mount Vernon and attends Proclamation Church. In his free time, he loves spending as much time as possible with family and friends. He also enjoys reading theology, running, and playing piano.
