Why Plan Sponsors Choose The Joseph Group

December 4, 2025

It is truly a privilege to serve such wonderful clients and that is not lost on us. The trust our clients place in us to help them operate an effective plan – one that ultimately enables their team to reach retirement readiness – is an honor and we strive each day to earn that trust. We have had another great year at The Joseph Group, and we thought sharing a little bit more about both our firm, our culture, and our services would be a fitting end to a great year.

I think the easy place to start is our values. If you have been to our new office (and if you haven’t we would love to host you) you can tell how important our values are to our team. Yes, they are on the wall in multiple places around the office. However, they are much more than wall décor, they are an integral part of our culture and the lens through which we view our roles and how we serve our clients each day. You and your team deserve to work with people who live these five values:

  • Integrity – We strive for what is right, not what is convenient.
  • Teamwork – We trust others and act in ways which enable others to trust us.
  • Humility – It’s not about us; we value others’ skills and ideas.
  • Excellence – We strive to avoid complacency and seek to “make it better.”
  • Enthusiasm – We are passionate about our privilege to impact our clients’ stories.

Next, I believe that our niche of partnering with employers who share our values to provide education and a scalable version of the TJG Way to their team is something other great companies want. We talk with many of your team members and employees and many of them wish financial education was something they were provided in college, or even high school. “Enrolling in a 401(k) 101” is unfortunately not a course that I have ever heard of, but it may be one of the most important things a new employee does! We make lots of decisions each year and investing in our future sometimes gets put on the backburner. At The Joseph Group, we love to help new employees with that. We often meet with new employees to show them how to get through the process – explaining what the investment options mean to them and how that can impact their retirement savings. We don’t stop helping them after enrollment, we provide ongoing education either via seminars or private 1v1 conversations with a member of our team to encourage employees to grow their knowledge, and their retirement nest egg.

Finally, we want to grow our community both by pouring into our clients and friends but also having our clients and friends pouring into each other. When we have an opportunity to introduce one client to another client and both of their lives are enriched, that is when we really find joy. We love to share our clients’ stories, first because our clients are doing great things through their business, as well as in their communities, but also, we hope these stories inspire others to live their great lives too. Our hope is that highlighting our clients along their journey encourages others to reach for their dreams.

We love to meet new friends and share their stories with others. Often we do this for companies by serving as their retirement plan advisor, but that’s not the only way. If you would like to tell your story, whether personal or company, please reach out to us! There’s no cost to have a conversation and if nothing else, we love to listen to your story and try to find a way to help you live your great life.
