If you’re like most people, there’s a person in your life that is challenging for you. Perhaps their personality grates on you or they have habits or attitudes that really bother you. But because they’re family or a close friend or colleague, you can’t simply avoid them. What to do?

Try changing your perspective on them. Begin to view this person as giving you an opportunity to grow in patience and acceptance – to love when it’s hard to do so. And be sure to model the behavior you wish they demonstrated. Sometimes the flaws we see in others are flaws we possess!

Living a great life means working to become the person God made you to be: a person of kindness, compassion, integrity, and encouragement. See every encounter as an opportunity to sow seeds of hope and joy in others, even those that bother you.

Each day can become a canvas on which you draw a beautiful picture with your life. And the impact your life can have is incalculable when you are determined to bring out the best in others and yourselves!
